We also hung up our Christmas lights. Our house looks so pretty now!! We hung icicle lights on the top of the porch and garage out front, then Mommy put lighted garland on the porch railings. She also put lights on our little juniper tree, and got three "pathway trees" with lights too! Today, like we try to do every year on the weekend after Thanksgiving, we went up into the mountains to take some pictures for our Christmas cards. But we didn't get too many pictures, because Mommy left my coat off for the long car ride up to the pass, but then found out that she really left it at home!!! Can you believe it!! So we bundled me up in blankets for about 3 pictures and that's it!! But it was really pretty in the mountains. It was snowing really lightly, and everything was covered. Mommy was so mad that she forgot my coat, because we could have gotten some really good pictures.

But we did get to see some Big Horn Sheep, about 10 of them were licking the ice in the middle of the road!! Here's a picture of the ram. The rest were ewes, or mommies, and two babies.
Daddy said that we will try to get some more pictures next weekend when we got up to Red Feather Lakes to cut our Christmas Tree!! Yippee!! I'm so excited!! I hope it's not as cold as it was last year! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here!! Mommy and Daddy are almost done with their shopping already (and no black friday excursions either!!) I wonder what Santa will bring me!?! And Mommy's almost done with her school. Just 5 more class days, and 1 final, and that's it!! She's been working so hard!! I'll be happy when she's done too!! Well - til next time!!

He is growing so quickly!! He now understands most everything we say, however, still refuses for the most part to talk. Don't get me wrong - He can babble like the best of them (especially when reading himself a story!) but doesn't want to repeat anything we try to get him to say. Most of the time he just whines to get what he wants, a bad habit we are trying to break! He consistantly says Da-Da, and even Daddy, but Kitty is the most common word out of his mouth. He still meows sometimes, and barks at dogs but sometimes he will say doggie. Other occasional words include cookie, cracker, ma-ma, and "hey-o" (when he's talking on his phone! so cute!!) He's a good boy for the most part (we have definately entered into toddlerhood and tantrums!!), but he can be a sweetheart when he wants to! He's very affectionate and loves giving Mommy and Daddy kisses, especially at night time and bye-byes. Also he loves helping Mommy with thing around the house, folding laundry, doing dishes, and feeding the doggies - which can be more of a curse than a blessing sometimes!! (Picture recently folded laundry in a heap on the floor, and dirty forks missing from the dishwasher container!!) As most mothers, I try to keep it positive and let him play with the basket, or close the dishwasher when we are done!! He really keeps us on our toes!!

So after about 10 minutes we went back in and I watched the doggies and kitty play in it. They seemed like they were having more fun than me!!

Mommy only has 4 weeks of classes left, 5 weeks including finals, and 6 weeks until graduation!!! (that includes her week off for Thanksgiving) She's so excited!!! I'll be glad when she's done - I won't have to spend so much time at Ginny's house. Mommy's got a big paper and a presentation due this week, so she's been working extra hard, and I've been at Ginny's a lot this week. But it's all almost over!! Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for thoose wheelin videos the next couple days!
