Good Weather!!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying this weather as much as we are!!  We have been so busy and having a blast this week.  This weekend Mommy had a jewelry party so Daddy and the boys got to hang out and have man time!  Well, it was mostly just running errands, but Mommy definitely got some girl time!  Then, Monday we had a play date for MOPS at the bounce place, Jumpin'.  Everyone had so much fun!!  Jayce didn't do much jumping, but they have other toys for little kids that he had fun on.  There were a couple of Birthday parties going on too and somehow he got ahold of a balloon.  And he didn't let it out of his sight the rest of the day!! It was cute. Here's some pictures from the bounce place:

Yesterday we took it easy.  We played outside a lot in the beautiful sunshine!  It's been in the 70's all week and I'm loving it!  Almost all my spring bulbs are coming up, and some of my crocuses are even blooming!!

Today was another busy day.  We went with some friends on a hike to Horsetooth Falls - our favorite hike!!  The falls were flowing really good because of the snowmelt and so it was a nice cool-down after a "long, hot hike"-according to Riley!  The kids did great!! My friend Brandy brought her 4 kids all ages 4-12.  Riley liked having the older boys to follow after.  The almost 2 1/2 mile hike was just right for them!  Jayce rode in the backpack so he had no problems at all!  He really enjoyed throwing rocks into the water pool, and there were no tears when I buckled him back in for the return trip!  YAY!!!  Here are some highlights from the trip.

All the kids: Katelynn, Allyson, Eli, David, Jayce, Riley

Throwing Rocks

We were babylegging it again this week a lot!!  You can see both the boys sportin' the BL's for our hike this morning, and yesterday Jayce did the Colts attire.  But this one from Saturday is by far my favorite!!  I'm working on freezer paper stenciling (from pinterest) for a MOPS craft so I experimented with some shirts for me and the boys.  This is the one I did for Jayce.  I chose the flames because I love his flame babylegs and he doesn't have much to wear them with.  So I made something for him!!  What a cutie!!
And we still have a lot planned for the rest of the week.  Tomorrow we are doing some shopping.  We need some new dress clothes for Easter, and Daddy keeps wearing out his jeans at work!  Plus there's grocery shopping and lots of other things we need to pick up.  Then on Friday we are heading to our friends Tanner, Jackson, and Ryder's house.  Their mom is re-doing Tanner and Jackson's room making a clubhouse out of a bunkbed (well, Dad did that part) and painting a big tree on the wall. I went over last week to help trace the tree and Friday we are going to paint it!  I've been itching to do something like this for a while.  I really liked doing the boys walls before Jayce was born, and I've been thinking about doing something in their bathroom.  So I was happy when she asked me to help out!!  I live for this crafty stuff!!!  There's a St. Patrick's Day parade in Old Town on Saturday . . . but after this crazy week I may just opt to stay home and lay on the couch!!

Enjoy the rest of the week everyone - and get outside!!!

BabyLegs Mania!!!

So if you don't already know there is one baby/kids product I'm OBSESSED with!  BabyLegs!!!  They are the cutest little legwarmers for little ones, and well, they had a sale last week!!  In Honor of Leap Day, they had EVERYTHING in their store on sale for $4.  Let me say that again - I don't think it quite sank in with you $4!!!!!!  When everything is usually $10-$15 each, that's a SUPER DEAL!!!!  Even Shipping was $4.  So needless to say, everyone got new Babylegs (yes, even Mommy!!)!!  And they are just perfect for the weather lately.  That it's warm, but not quite shorts weather.  And they are even more perfect for Jayce!!  He's finally fitting into 12 months clothing, the only problem is most of the 12 mo stuff I have is from Riley and its all Summer stuff.  We have a few pair of pants and we've bought some long-sleeved onsies, but these make it so easy to turn those cute little shorts/rompers into a spring-time outfit!!  (See the tiger outfit for an example!)  Here's some pictures of the boys in their BabyLegs the last couple days:

Riley's Soccer babylegs

Jayce's Dinos with matching socks

Eye of the tiger! (these Babylegs were from Halloween last year!! - So versitile!)

Soccer ones on the legs

Even Mommy got some, in fuzzy pink and black.  I wear these on my arms since my legs are definitely too big!  And I'm currently working on some more outfits to go with all the ones that Jayce has already.  (look for the Red Hot Flames outfit coming soon!!!)

Swimming Lessons

Hello Everyone!  Sorry for the delay again!  We are busy people here in Colorado!  The weather's been relatively nice (minus some crazy wind), so we've been spending as much time as we can outdoors.  I discovered today while cleaning up some "winter landscaping" that I even have tulips coming up!  YAY!! I'm ready for spring, that's for sure!

We are still going gung-ho with Swim Lessons.  Both Riley and Jayce are doing great.  Riley is now swimming without the help of the instructor (just a noodle to float on), well, doggie paddle at least, and Jayce has discovered his favorite part of the lesson is jumping in off the wall.  Which Mommy is not too excited about for the future!  I definitely see him becoming the child with no fear jumping in the water without any thoughts of consequences.  Let's hope that doesn't happen.  Here's some pictures of Riley swimming.  Once again I don't have any of Jayce.  I'll have to get a friendly person to take some of us this week in the water.

And Riley is all signed up for Kindergarten!!  It's sad, I know!!  I'm not ready to think of him as school-aged!  I signed him up for the PM class.  I don't think he'll have a problem getting this choice, but we won't know for sure until later.  I think he'll like it!

Cam and I are still plugging away at life!  He has a training in Jacksonville, FL coming up.  we talked about making it a "family vacation" since his hotel is on the beach.  But it's only for a few days, and we figured it would cost about $1000 for plane tickets for the three of us, plus food and the little extras, and for two days on the beach . . . it's just not worth it.  Too bad Cam didn't think to book flights for Friday night instead of Monday, then it would have been worth it!  Anywho, so we will be missing him here in the next couple weeks.

My Crochet Business is starting to pick up!  I've had a few orders come in, I think just for Easter!  I'm already making multiples of the same hat I marketed as an Easter hat!!  so YAY ME!!!  And Vanessa, yours is done except for the ribbon, so I will be sending it to you Tuesday at the latest!!  If you want to see what else I have made just go to babybeardesigns.wordpress.com or "LIKE" my store on Facebook

One more thing, I have to pass along Happy Birthday's to family!!  My sister's was yesterday and my mother-in-law's is next Saturday.  So Happy Birthday to Aunt Anna and Grandma Louie!

Have a good week everyone!!
