Hello from Hot Colorado! As most of you in Indy already know, a very good friend of ours needs your thoughts and prayers. Last Thursday night, Officer Jason Fishburn with Indianapolis Metro Police Department was shot in the head during a foot persuit of a homicide suspect. He is still in critical condition from what I understand, however slowly improving!! Please continue to pray for his recovery, and for his family as they keep a constant vigil over their loved one.

In other news!! Riley has a new tooth! He now has three on the bottom, his two middle and the new one on the left side of his mouth. We think the one on the right is not far behind!! So this one totals 7, no molars yet! He is also starting to like the water! Aliy took him to Horsetooth again today and he let her hold him and get in up to his armpits. Also, he walked in (with some coaxing), up to his diaper and would splash the water!! He still prefers to play in the sand, or people watch, but at least he doesn't scream when his toes get wet!! Here's some pictures from today:

Cam's birthday was also this past week. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (so he could get his usual steak dinner!), and Aliy made him a Cherry torte cake (half of which is still leftover!) Not much else going on, Cam takes a business trip in the beginning of August, and we are meeting his parents and sister in Durango right before the start of Aliy's LAST SEMESTER!!! Yeah!! Hope everyone has a great week, and please pray for Jason and his family!

Happy Belated Birthday Cam! We are all praying for Jason here...but it is wonderful news that he is showing signs of improvement. It was scary there for awhile. I haven't been to see him yet but hopefully I can sometime this week. Good luck with your last semester of school Aliy! Yay! Nate and I will be moving to Michigan next month to finish up his schooling. Whether we sell the house or not, we're going. We just listed with Debbie Ingram, hopefully she'll can sell it for us.
