Jayce Rolls Over!!

Yes, at 3 Months old this baby has learned to Roll Over!!  He rolled from his back onto his tummy last week (seen in the video), and now he can also roll from his tummy to his back!!!  That's not as consistent and we haven't gotten any pictures or video yet.  He only does it in the beginning (before he gets too tired) but he can do it!!  We are definitely gonna be in trouble with this little man!!  Riley didn't roll over until he was 6 months old.  I hope this isn't the trend with Jayce . . .

  Hope everyone is having a beautiful springtime!!  We are certainly enjoying the nice weather here in Colorado.  Especially Cameron and Riley!  Riley LOVES playing outside, he asks about 100 times a day to go out and play, and Cameron because he's still training for his marathon, so that means a lot of time spent outdoors running.  In fact, last Saturday he ran nearly 17 miles down the Poudre Canyon (where the Marathon is being held) for training.  We dropped him off at Stephen's Gulch, played in the river, and then meet him at Ted's Place.  Here's some pics of us playing in the river.  I will say Riley did a good job of taking some of Jayce and I!!

 We also stopped and took a Picture of Cam running.  It still amazes me that he can do these long distances!  He can be so determined when he sets his mind to something!! 

We didn't get to go hiking again last week though.  I did take the boys on a walk at River Bluffs.  It's a new Open Space in Windsor that is part of the Poudre River Trail System.  The trial is paved, so I can take the stroller on it easily.  I think that will become a frequent haunt for us!! 

In other news this week - Jayce has Eczema.  It started as a couple of small spots on his forehead, from his hats rubbing.  Then we added a spot on the back of his neck, probably from shirt tags.  But by last week the spot on his neck had grown to cover one whole shoulder and part of the other, as well as two more spots on his back, rings around his legs from his diapers and on the backs of his legs/calves.  No Wonder we have had such a grumpy baby!!  So we stopped in to the Dr. to have it looked at and he didn't seem too concerned (given the dry winter we've had and the fact that we live in Colorado with such Low Humidities).  So we added another humidifier to the house, got some "super lotion" for Jayce, and we lather him up every night before bed!!  However, the best thing I've found to work is my Mary Kay Extra Emollient Cream - so now we just have a really greasy baby!  He's also doing great at holding his head up.  So we got out the exersaucer for him to play in.  He Loves it!!  For about 20 minutes, then his neck gets tired and he's done.  But it's something new and fun, and Riley likes playing with the toys to entertain him!

 He loves to watch Riley playing with anything!!  Riley is the perfect baby entertainment!!  Whether he's running around the house, jumping on the bed or playing trains, Jayce is so intrigued with whatever he's doing!  I hope this is a good sign for how they will play together in the future!!

 And lastly, I wanted to show of this REALLY NEAT Craft I did this week.  I plan all the crafts for our MOPS group, and this is one that I came across that I thought would be fun to do - and I was Right!!  It's so easy.  I bought some High Melt Paraffin Wax from Peak Candle Supplies, some party balloons from the dollar store, and a Candle Melt Pitcher from Hobby Lobby.  Melt the wax, fill the balloon with water, dip it in the wax and let cool.  SO EASY!!!  

Then you pop the balloon and pull it out and you are left with these Cool little luminaries for tealights!!!  Each one is unique because of the balloons, and they are so pretty!!  I love it so much I had to share!  We are making them this Monday for MOPS and I can't wait!!  I must say this is by far my Favorite Craft I have done!!  Click Here for the link to do it yourself!

What a Weekend!!!

Wow - Have I had a Blast these last couple days!!!  On Wednesday last week my Friend MaKenna came over to play.  Mommy and Kenna's Mommy, Bonnie just sat around and talked, boring old people stuff... but Kenna and I had a lot of fun!  We colored with crayons, played lightsabers, and ran all over the house!  I wish Kenna could come over everyday!  Then on Friday we went on a hike!!  We went to the waterfall at Horsetooth.  Lacey and Jaxon came too, but not Greg, he was far away at his Nana's house in Kansas.  But we still had fun!!  The waterfall was only a trickle, but I got to play in the rocks.  Mommy was so proud of me because I carried my own backpack the WHOLE way!!  It had my water and lunch in it.  Mommy carried Jayce in the sling (cuz he's still too little for the backpack carrier) and her backpack with Jayce's diapers and her lunch.  Then afterwards we took Lacey and Jaxon to Inta Juice (our FAVORITE Smoothie place) cuz they haven't ever been!!  They thought it was Yummy too!  I'm glad! 

Then on Saturday we went to Trevor's Birthday party.  Trevor's Mommy used to be my babysitter.  He's 3 now like me!  He had a Cowboy party, so I got to wear my cowboy hat and Marshal Star!  We ate hotdogs and beans (yuck) for lunch and got to eat off of tins (aluminum pie plates) just like real cowboys!!!  I like going to Trevor's house, cuz they have a BIG Trampoline!!!  I LOVE to jump on it!! 

Speaking of Jumping . . . Today MOPS went on a field trip!  We went to the bounce house place.  I got to go down the big slide and jump with all my friends from MOPS!!  It was so much FUN!!  I can't wait to go back again. 

Mommy says the weather is supposed to be nice all week - in the 70's on Wednesday!!  So we are going to go on another hike I think.  Maybe we'll go to Devil's Backbone and see the rocks!  But Mommy says they might have closed the keyhole because of the bird's nest already, so maybe we'll go somewhere else.  We'll have to see!!  More pictures of that to come!!  Have a good week everyone - and a Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  (I wonder if the Leprechauns will come visit us!?!?)

Swimming Lesson Pictures

Hey everybody!!  My Daddy is home again!  He went to LA last week for training with his work and we missed him SOOOO MUCH!!!  Mommy had to take care of Me and Jayce all by herself . . . She did a good job though.  I got to play with Greg a lot, and Justine came over to see us too.  Mommy took me to Swimming lessons and we went to Donall's (McDonald's) afterwards for dinner.  I got a Megatron Transformer in my Happy Meal, and it shoots a fireball!!  Isn't that Cool!! Anyways, Mommy took some pictures of me Swimming on her phone (that's why they are all fuzzy)  to share with you.  This week is my last week, but I heard Mommy talking with Lacey (Greg's Mommy) that we might take the class again later, and Greg would take it too!!!
