After being poked and proded some more at the Dr.'s, everything is looking good. Aliy got her Rhogam shot (for the 2nd time!), and had a few more tests run to make sure that she's safe to travel next week. And All is Good!! Apparently one test is to see the likelyhood that she will deliver in the next 2 weeks, and it came back negative. :) Everything seems to be running on schedule - she's growing at a perfect rate, even though it feels to her like she's expanding exponentally!! Her belly is starting to get heavy, and in the way a lot. And other inconveniences like heartburn and leg cramps have kicked in too. Riley moves on a pretty consistant basis now, becoming more active in the mornings and at night, and after Aliy eats (especially anything sweet - guess he got Dad's sweet tooth!!) He's also started kicking fairly rythmicly when Cameron reads to him - which is really cool to watch!
Childbirthing class started on Thursday (and we were both exhausted after a last minute trip to the vet for our crazy dog). That went well, and seems like the experience is going to be very informational for us. Cam's new favorite word he learned is Fundus (the top part of the uterus), and uses it as often as possible - even if it doesn't make sense!! ;) The class is 11 couples, who in all are having 9 boys and 3 girls (one set of twins). In a couple of weeks we get to tour the hospital, and Aliy is looking forward to that one.
Aliy flies home to Indy on Friday night, and will be around for a few days. She is looking forward to seeing everyone again, and hoping that the trip isn't too stressful (although it will be a nice break from the craziness she has had at school lately!) We'll try to get some pictures up around then. See you all soon!!
And Happy 21st Birthday to Aunt Anna!!!
